Your details are safe with us

This page explains how we use the personal details you give through the forms on this website. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• Join form: name, mobile number, district, and anything else you choose to give (age, profession, interests and so on)
• Event registration: name, mobile number, place
• Camp requests and messages: what you write in the form

We do not track visitors with cookies and run no advertising trackers. To stop form abuse we keep an unidentifiable fingerprint (a hash) of your IP address for one hour.

Why we use it

• To contact you by phone or WhatsApp about volunteering, training and events
• To tell you about an event you registered for

Who can see it

Only the coordinators of your district and the state office-bearers, through a password-protected system. Your details are never sold or passed on.

Your rights

You may withdraw your consent, and see, correct or completely erase your details. Ask through the Contact page and we will act on it.

How long we keep it

For as long as you stay involved. If you tell us you are not interested, we erase your details on request.
